In general, it refers to works that cover historical stories and samurai-class incidents older than the Edo period. Of these, the one depicting the dynasty era is also called the dynasty (royal era), and the one depicting the incident inside the daimyo in the Edo period is also called the household. It also includes "live history", which is a special historical drama created after the modern era. "Yoshitsune Senbonzakura", "Honcho Hiroshi Takashi", etc.
