Kazuko Gokura (16 November 1914 - 12 April 2016) was a Japanese painter and member of the Japan Art Academy.
Born in Tokyo, the eldest daughter of the Japanese painter Gokura Senjin, she graduated from the Japanese Painting Department of the Women's College of Fine Arts in 1935, studied under Yasuda Yukihiko in 1937, and continued to exhibit her work at the In-Ten Exhibition, receiving the Japan Art Academy Prize in 1957, the In-Ten Fellowship in 1960, the Minister of Education Prize in 1970, the Prime Minister's Prize at the In-Ten Exhibition in 1984, the Japan Art Academy Prize and the Imperial Prize in 1989, and the Order of Merit in 1992. He was awarded the Japan Art Academy Prize and the Imperial Prize in 1989, the Fourth Order of the Precious Crown in 1992, a member of the Japan Art Academy in 1997, and a Person of Cultural Merit in 2002. Many of his paintings are of flowers and birds.
In November 2013, the exhibition Kazuko Gokura in commemoration of her 99th (white) birthday was held at the Museum of Modern Art, Toyama.
She died of heart failure on 12 April 2016, aged 101. On the same day as her death, she was awarded the Fourth Order of the Rising Sun and the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star.
