Taika Kimoto

Taika Kimoto

Japanese painter. Born in Tokyo in 1901. Studied under Matsumoto Kaeko and Araki Juho, and excelled at painting flowers and birds and landscapes. He was a member of the Nitten exhibition, and was awarded the Hakuju Prize and the Teiten Special Prize. Died in 2001 at the age of 100.
