Rinzou Murata 1954, Showa 29.
Born in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture.
1978 Showa 53
Graduated from the Department of Japanese Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts.
1990 Heisei 2
His work was selected for the first time for both the 45th and 75th In-Ten exhibitions. He has exhibited his works since then.
1993 (Heisei 5)
In 1993, he was nominated as an In'yu (friend of the Japan Art Academy) at the 78th Inten Exhibition.
1997 (Heisei 9)
Dedicated a ceiling painting to Tachibana-ji Temple in Asuka Village, Nara Prefecture (birthplace of Prince Shotoku).
1999 (Heisei 11)
Dedicated a ceiling painting to Zojoji Temple in Shiba, Tokyo. Exhibited "Exhibition of ceiling paintings at Zojoji Temple".
2000 (Heisei 12)
Purchased "Lakeside" from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was selected for the 55th Spring In Exhibition. Produced the original of the stamp "Konjikido" in Chuson-ji, Hiraizumi.
2005 (Heisei 17)
Created "Unryu". Installed the ceiling of the main hall of Enchoji Temple in Suzaka City, Nagano Prefecture.
2009 Heisei 21
Held the "RINZO MURATA Japanese Painting Exhibition" in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
Heisei 23 (2011)
Celebrated the registration of Hiraizumi as a World Heritage Site with the exhibition of Japanese paintings by RINZO MURATA in Morioka.
2012 Heisei 24
Dedicated a Japanese painting 'Konjikido Sansetsu Shinzo' to Chuson-ji in Hiraizumi.
2015 Heisei 27
Recommended as a special member of the Japan Art Academy
