Woman Figure

Masasuke Osawa (September 24, 1903 - May 15, 1997) was a Japanese Western-style painter of the Showa and Heisei periods. He was a founding member of the Nika-kai when it was rebuilt after World War II, and established his own unique style of abstract painting that is concise and rich in color, such as the Soft Line and Horizon series, when he was over 80 years old. There is a mural in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
